1、 Raw material specification

2、 Spinning process

3、 Specific process measures for each process
3.1 Cleaning process
Modal fiber is thin, soft and free of impurities, with a small amount of hard filaments. Therefore, the process configuration of opening and cleaning should be based on multi carding, light beating and less dropping, and the beater speed of each part should be controlled at a lower level, for example, the beater speed of A036B machine should be lower than 500 r/min; It is beneficial to reduce bundles, hard wires and fiber damage; Adjust the tear speed ratio of the corner nail curtain to minimize the billowing of cotton blocks, which is conducive to reducing neps. The comprehensive beater speed is 900 r/min, the interval between the beater and the dust rod is too large, and the dust rod is installed reversely to increase air supplement; Anti stick roll roving shall be used, the wet weight of cotton roll shall be 420 g/m, and the fan speed shall be 1400 r/min to ensure that there is no hole in the cotton web. The off machine cotton roll is wrapped with plastic cloth to maintain the fiber moisture regain and enhance the spinnability of the next process.
3.2 Carding process
Carding is mainly to reduce neps, improve fiber separation, and try to keep fibers from being damaged. According to the characteristics of Modal fiber, which is thin, soft and free of impurities, the carding process should adopt the process principle of slow speed, large transfer, strong carding and less impurities. The cotton feeding plate should be raised by 3 mm, the dedusting knife should be high and large angle. The diameter of the taker in pulley should be changed from 132 mm to 180 mm, the chord length of the small leakage bottom should be 200 mm, the inlet should be 8 mm, the outlet should be 1 mm, and the cylinder card clothing should be equipped with AC2520 × 02050, AD4030 is optional for doffer clothing × 02090 type, taker in rack optional AT5610 × 0631l type, JPT-36 type is selected for the flat card clothing, and the linear speed ratio of cylinder and taker in is the best at 1:2.
When the interval between the cylinder and the cover plate is too small, the fiber will easily bypass the cylinder and fill the card clothing, resulting in a large number of neps; When the spacing between the cylinder and the cover plate is too large, it is not easy for the card clothing to grasp the fiber, the carding quality becomes poor, and the fiber is rubbed, causing cloud spots on the cotton web and a large number of neps. Therefore, the five point spacing is optimized to be 0.38 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.38 mm, and the diameter of the cover plate pulley is 315 mm; Due to the fine fiber fineness, less crimp, poor cohesion, easy falling of cotton mesh, floating head and broken edge, etc., proper attention should be paid to adjusting the tension of cotton mesh during production, or a pallet can be added under the cotton mesh.
3.3 Drawing process
In view of the characteristics of Modal fiber, such as thin, soft, fast moisture absorption and desorption, serious static electricity, and poor fiber cohesion, it is easy to stick the roller, rubber roller, pile sleeve, and plug the bell mouth during production. Therefore, pay attention to controlling the relative humidity (60%~65%) of the car. The roller spacing shall be appropriately enlarged, and the vehicle speed shall not be too high. At the same time, the drafting distribution shall be reasonably arranged. The drafting multiple of the head parallel rear zone shall be controlled at about 1.75 times, and the drafting multiple of the secondary parallel rear zone shall be controlled at about 1.25 times, so as to reduce the number of hooked fibers while improving the fiber straightness and parallelism.
