What are the types of conventional yarns? There are many kinds of yarns with different properties. It can be a pure spinning yarn made of natural fibers or various chemical staple fibers, or a blended yarn made of several fibers, or a filament yarn made of chemical fibers by direct spinning. Generally, it can be classified according to the raw materials used for yarn, yarn thickness, spinning method, spinning system, yarn structure and yarn use.
According to yarn raw materials:
1. Pure spinning is a kind of yarn spun from a fiber material, such as cotton yarn, wool yarn, hemp yarn and spun silk yarn. This kind of yarn is suitable for making pure textiles.
2. Blended yarn Blended yarn is a yarn made of two or more kinds of fibers, such as polyester and cotton blended yarn, wool and viscose blended yarn, etc. This type of yarn is used for fabrics that highlight the advantages of both fibers.
According to yarn thickness:
1. Coarse tex yarn: Coarse tex yarn refers to 32 tex and above (18 inch count and below in British system). This kind of yarn is suitable for thick fabrics, such as tweed, plain cloth, etc.

The yarn is of poor quality, soft, uneven, with many impurities and poor color. It is generally used to weave low-grade fabrics such as coarse cotton blanket, thick flannelette and packaging cloth.
